Sorry for your loss. I lost our dog Tiny. He was 13, and a shitsue. I think he died of heart failure, or some heart condition, but I'm not exactly clear on the details.
Awww Morgan! I'm so sorry. I totally know what you're going through. I lost two of my favorite dogs, and I still miss both, but life goes on eventually. I'm sorry!
Hello, Morgan. I give you my condolences about your dog. before we got our current pet Jackson, we had to put our seventeen-year-old Yorky shitzu to sleep. R.I.P. Sheila. lol that was her name.
awww morgan. that's sad. cute letter though
LOL.Thanks everyone! I will allways miss her.XXR.I.P.Gretchi Neeley. Thanks all 4 your suport.
I have lost 3 dogs in my life time, all of which were very very special to me. I lost 2 jackrustles called patch and bonney. Patch was bonneys son. Patch was the person that helped me to walk. I used to use him to get around the house as a walking fraim. Lol. Bonney was just a good companion dog. Then we got a retired guide dog who died of all sorts of cansers at once. That was painfull to watch. I felt really sorry for her. NOw i have my dog, lilly, and she is very special to me. i like her.
Ah, I'm so sorry. A few years ago, I lost my golden retrever to all sorts of ailments. The worst part about it was, I had to preform in a Christmas concert the night I got the news. I miss him a lot, but I'm glad he was my best friend.
aww It is always hard when you lose a Pet. Our family has lost a few dogs over the years. Some that have dyed, others that we had to get rid of for one reason or another. The most special one was a little maultese terrior called Tegan, she was pregnant with her first litter and ran out in front of a car and the car drove straight over her, but something under the car must have hit her on the head of something cause when the car moved off her she was still alive but dyed a few seconds later. She was wagging her tail. Then our rot wheeler Roxy got killed while my family were away on holiday a few years later. and most recently our little shitsu Bindy had to be put down cause she had cancer. The thing is. Tegan dyed about 10 years ago now, and when I was introduced to my first guide dog and they told me her name I nearly fell over. It's Tegan. SO Morgan it is hard for you at the moment, but you always have your memories. and your letter was very cute.
Morgan, I'm so sorry about Gretch. I think the saddest thing for me was when our cat died of AIDS. They go through the same process that people do. As hard as it was, getting a new cat was great therapy looking back on it. If you have any control, consider getting an animal that is opposite of Gretch. Samantha was a female, but Advent is a male. Their personalities were fortunately very different.
Good luck, and here's sending prayers and positive vibes your way.
Lou
thank you all for your loving support. Lou, we are most defenently getting a new dog. My parents say i am the one who has to pick it out, and i know wair i want to get it from. Only thing is, i really want a black lab, but mom and dad say there to big. Both dad and I have allways wanted a golden retrever. so mabie that one?
Even though we're going to get a new anamal, it can never replace Gretchin. Just like when we got Gretchin we new that she could never replace Penny.
Penny was a small dotsin, that i had from my baby time up untill i was 6, and we had to give her away to a new family because of sertin sercumstances, like we had to move.
I really never thoght Penny liked me to much, but acording to my mom, every night when i went to sleep, that dog was right next to me.
anyways, thanks for all your support guys, it really hellps.

i've lost one dog and two horses. all right, the dog was owned by my family, and the horses by a riding stable at which I work, but i was close to all three animals. Petra, a german shepherd bitch lived for ten years, dying in 1994. then there was Rosie, a large Irish draft mare who basically taught me to ride without a lead reign. she was very special and got me intrested in equine communication. then there was limrick, another irish draft mare, with whom I got on very well. she was a lovely mare with a gentle personality. Sorry to hear about the loss of your dog Morgan, and I hope you have many happy memories of her.
I have had to put three of my pets to sleep. The first one was my feret named orio second was my chauaua named baby and the third was my sugar glider named rosy. So I understand exactly what you are going threw.
Sugarglider? I've never heard of those.
gosh, I can't count the number of doggies I've either had to put down or that have died. No matter how many of them you go through, it never gets any easier. Each pet is unique and special, so the loss of one can't really prepare you for the loss of another. The last dog I have to put down was my guidedog named Sandy, a yellow lab. I put her down in February of 2006 and still can't quite bring myself to get another one yet. I had one dog, named sampson, that my x stepdad poisoned. I've had more than one dog get run over by a car. I totally understand how it feels to lose a beloved animal. I've definitely been there and can empethise.
